Chip is truly a treasure of a broodmare and bloodlines. She had a very adverse start into this world, having an accident at 3 days old that resulted in a damaged knee. As a result, she stayed with her breeders, Jessica and Clayton McNamara of Aesthetic Equine LLC. That is, until Jessica reached out offering this treasure of a mare to us. 

Chip is a broodmare that has the power to shape a program, so when she was offered, it was truly a no brainer. At the time, I owned her daughter, AE Black River RoyalFlush that I adored. Chip has a very kind heart, a gentle nature and, like all Morgans, eager to please. She doesn’t live life in the fast lane but she’s perfectly happy regardless. But, just like her daughter River, she’ll paw the air to get around being told no to truly pawing the ground. Clever girls. 

Chip has had 4 foals to date, all by Royal Gold Ariston. Each one has been exceptional. 2 of them are just starting their riding careers but show great promise as sport prospects and family horses. Which, ultimately, is the goal for our horses. Power to do well in the upper levels of Dressage with a quiet enough mind to be a little more user friendly. Chip makes just that! Her foals are solid bodied, kind hearts and a willing attitude.

On April 3rd 2024, Chip welcomed a red dun colt by Royal Gold Ariston. He will be registered as AE’s Peach Of A Hand and stand in the future at Aesthetic Equine LLC in Ettrick, WI. Chip welcomed her 2025 foal- a bay filly-BAMF Ante Up, in April and we are THRILLED with the cross. “Ivy” will be retained and Chip is going to enjoy some much needed time off!
