BAMF Queen of Hearts

On 7/18/23, we welcomed the very first foal of Bay Acres, Tempest. Registration pending she will be “BAMF Queen Of Hearts”. She is by Play The Odds and out of AE Black River RoyalFlush. PSSM1 Negative via parentage.

She is the first foal by her dam, River, and we couldn’t be happier with her. She is a vibrant chestnut with a unique facial marking that I would best describe as an interrupted blaze. She also sports a cute little left sock. As she has grown, she’s showing to be quite the stout young lady while still maintaining that Morgan look!

Tempest has been lively from the start. Everything one would expect from a chestnut Morgan filly. In your business, sassy but is all about attention. She is correct with lovely angles to her hind end that would aide her well in a sport career. However, she has multiple paternal siblings who have sported silver in the Western Pleasure divisions. She shares a sireline with Essex Playtime, Essex Blonde Ambition, MLB Power Play GCH and MLB Play It Again to name just a few. 

She is handled daily. All of our foals will come with a guarantee of picking up all four feet, wormed, vaccinated, fly spray, halter trained and introduced to clipping & bathing. We will also introduce trailering and practice short hauls so they are familiar with it when they are ready to leave! Our foals are raised in a pasture setting with other mares and other foals.

Tempest is available at 6,500. We are willing to work with buyers who compete or are dedicated to perpetuating quality Morgans. We will discuss payment plans to best suit buyers needs if we feel the situation leads Tempest to her life partner!

BAMF Agni Kai

On April 26th 2024, a bright red colt made his appearance out of first time dam, AEs Black River Dun Rush and by resident stallion, Play The Odds.

Kai is definitely a redhead at heart. He’s bold and so full of life! He’s already learning that people are truly his best of friends. We aren’t sure yet where his future may lie, so we are giving him more time to unfold before we really push listing him elsewhere. His pedigree is a treasure, being linebred to Fleetwing and Polly Forrest through several of the incomparable Black River Morgans.
