“Starberry Lady Of Courage”
Lady
2022 Black Filly Eeaa

Lady came to us from another sport program in New York, Starberry Sport Morgans. While she never had the opportunity to show at Dressage At Devon due to an illness as a weanling, her half and full siblings have made clean sweeps at this illustrious venue. Lindsey and Nathaniel of Starberry make the yearly voyage to show their Morgans at this venue to prove their stock, year after year. So truly, it was no question when she was offered. Lady is a brilliant mover with an active hind leg and lofty gaits. She has a natural, uphill balance with the most exquisite head.
Lady is truly befitting of her name. Even as a young filly, she has such a brilliant mind. Nothing is ever an ordeal or a fight. Once she’s understanding what’s being asked, she goes above and beyond to do so. She’s truly a pleasure. Kind enough to even let my sister, who’s never shown a horse in hand before, show her at a local venue. We intend to show Lady in hand for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. We do not start our horses under saddle before the age of 3, so she likely will not see any ridden classes until 2026. She is tentatively planned to cross on our junior stallion in 2025.
